North Carolina High School Volleyball - Monroe overwhelmed by Piedmont

August 12, 2025: Monroe, NC 28112

The Piedmont Panthers topped the host Monroe Redhawks volleyball team by a tally of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

The Panthers now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to West Stanly for a non-league outing on Monday, August 18. Piedmont will play a Colts team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over South Stanly (Norwood, NC). The Colts record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Monroe drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Redhawks host Parkland (Winston-Salem, NC) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league game on Wednesday, August 13. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 1-0. Parkland won 3-0 in their recent non-league game against Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC)
