The Monroe Redhawks volleyball squad (Monroe, NC), dropped 3-0 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC)

The Bearcats (9-1) will now prepare for their contest against Montgomery Central (Troy, NC). The Timberwolves enter the non-league contest with a 3-5 record.

Next, the Redhawks meet the Piedmont Panthers (Monroe, NC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 8. Monroe will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record.
