In Tuesday's non-league match, the Taft Greyhounds (Taft, TX) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Ray Texans (Corpus Christi, TX), by a margin of 3-2.

The Greyhounds now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Refugio for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 19. Taft will clash with a Bobcats team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Falls City (Falls City, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 0-1.
