Georgia High School Softball - Rockmart sneaks past Union County
August 14, 2025: Rockmart, GA 30153 The Rockmart Yellowjackets softball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Union County Panthers to 3 in the Yellowjackets league win on Thursday.
The Yellowjackets now possess a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Coahulla Creek for a 2A Region 7 challenge on Tuesday, August 19.
The Panthers (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against North Murray (Chatsworth, GA). The Mountaineers enter the 2A Region 7 battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, North Murray nipped North Cobb Christian (Kennesaw, GA), 1-0, in a league battle.
