In Thursday's non-league match, the East Burke Cavaliers (Connelly Springs, NC) volleyball squad prevailed the visiting Freedom Patriots (Morganton, NC), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Cavaliers confront the St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC) in a non-league match, on Monday, August 18. East Burke will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC).
