North Carolina High School Volleyball - McDowell East Burke

The East Burke Cavaliers prevailed the visiting McDowell Titans volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Monday's non-league game.

Next up, the Cavaliers confront the Hibriten Panthers (Lenoir, NC) in a Western Piedmont 3A/4A game, on Tuesday, September 23. East Burke will attempt to better on its 6-11 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 4-11 record after their 3-0 league loss to East Rutherford (Bostic, NC).

With the loss, McDowell drops to 9-7 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Freedom (Morganton, NC) to clash with the Patriots in a Northwestern 6A/7A bout on Tuesday, September 23. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 3-11. Freedom lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC)
