California High School Volleyball - Golden Valley overwhelmed by Santa Clarita Christian
August 14, 2025: Santa Clarita, CA 91321 Santa Clarita Christian Cardinals (Canyon Country, CA) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team run past the host Golden Valley Grizzlies (Santa Clarita, CA), 3-0 in a non-league outing.
The Cardinals now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to The Palmdale Aerospace Academy for a Heritage outing on Tuesday, August 19. Santa Clarita Christian will play a Griffins team coming off a 3-1 league win over Palmdale Academy Charter School (Palmdale, CA). The Griffins record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Golden Valley drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Grizzlies host Highland (Palmdale, CA) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Tuesday, August 19. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 1-1. Highland lost 3-0 in their recent non-league game against Saugus (Saugus, CA)
