Georgia High School Softball - Toombs County bounces Swainsboro
August 15, 2024: Swainsboro, GA 30401 The Toombs County Bulldogs softball team scored 7 runs and held the host Swainsboro Tigers to 1 in the Bulldogs league win on Thursday.
The Bulldogs now possess a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Effingham for a non-league battle on Saturday, August 17. Toombs County will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Pierce County (Blackshear, GA). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Swainsboro moves to 3-3 on the season. The Tigers host Statesboro (Statesboro, GA) to confront the Blue Devils in a non-league battle on Monday, August 19. The Blue Devils come into the battle with a record of 1-3. Statesboro lost 8-1 in their recent non-league battle against Richmond Hill (Richmond Hill, GA)
