Georgia High School Softball - Toombs County bounces Swainsboro
September 5, 2024: Lyons, GA 30436 The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Toombs County Bulldogs (Lyons, GA) and the visiting Swainsboro Tigers (Swainsboro, GA), observed Toombs County's softball team get by Swainsboro by a tally of 4-0.
The Bulldogs (10-2) will now prepare for their challenge against East Laurens (East Dublin, GA). The Falcons go into the non-league challenge with a 10-2 record. In their last challenge, East Laurens held off Jefferson County (Louisville, GA), 14-0, in a league challenge.
The Tigers (6-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Edmund Burke Academy (Waynesboro, GA). The Spartans go into the non-league challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, Edmund Burke Academy was routed by Pinewood Christian (Bellville, GA), 13-5, in a non-league challenge.
