Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Flour Bluff Hornets (Corpus Christi, TX) and the host Covenant Knights (Dallas, TX), observed Flour Bluff's volleyball team top Covenant by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Flour Bluff improves its record to 7-2 on the season. The Hornets travel to Fort Bend Christian Academy (Sugar Land, TX) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league battle on Friday, August 15. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 1-2.
