August 16, 2025: Chouteau, OK 74337 Chouteau-Mazie Wildcats (Chouteau, OK) supporters left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Mounds Golden Eagles (Mounds, OK), 6-1 in a league game.
With the triumph, Chouteau-Mazie improves its record to 5-2 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Locust Grove (Locust Grove, OK) to play the Pirates in a non-league game on Monday, August 18. The Pirates enter the game with a record of 0-0.
The Golden Eagles now hold a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Caney Valley for a 2A match on Monday, August 18. Mounds will battle a Trojans team coming off a 11-2 non-league loss to Pawhuska (Pawhuska, OK). The Trojans record now stands at 3-1.
