August 26, 2025: Mounds, OK 74047 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Mounds Golden Eagles (Mounds, OK) and the visiting Porter Pirates (Porter, OK), observed Mounds's softball team get by Porter by a tally of 13-8.
The Golden Eagles (4-7) will now prepare for their bout against Liberty (Mounds, OK). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 1-6 record. In their last bout, Liberty was routed by Prue (Prue, OK), 14-0, in a non-league contest.
The Pirates now hold a 3-8 record. They play next when they host Chouteau-Mazie for a non-league contest on Thursday, August 28. Porter will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 9-1 league loss to Warner (Warner, OK). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-8.
