Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Fernley Vaqueros (Fernley, NV) and the host Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV), observed Fernley's volleyball team top Churchill County by a tally of 2-0.

The Vaqueros (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Truckee (Truckee, CA). The Wolverines enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.

Next, the Greenwave meet the Sparks Railroaders (Sparks, NV) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, August 20. Churchill County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Railroaders enter the contest with a 0-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Sierra Lutheran (Carson City, NV).
