The South Hills Scorpions edged the visiting Sam Houston Texans volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Scorpions face the Pantego Christian Panthers (Arlington, TX) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, August 19. South Hills will attempt to advance on its 2-7 season record. The Panthers come into the outing with a 6-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Benbrook (Benbrook, TX).
