August 30, 2025: Fort Worth, TX 76111 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the South Hills Scorpions (Fort Worth, TX) and the host Carter-Riverside Eagles (Fort Worth, TX), saw South Hills's volleyball squad notch a victory over Carter-Riverside by a score of 2-0.
With the win, South Hills improves its record to 6-19 on the season. The Scorpions travel to Haltom (Haltom City, TX) to encounter the Buffalos in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 30. The Buffalos go into the battle with a record of 4-6. Haltom lost 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Pantego Christian (Arlington, TX)
The Eagles now own a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bowie for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 2. Carter-Riverside will battle a Volunteers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Whitehouse (Whitehouse, TX). The Volunteers record now stands at 6-4.
