Oklahoma High School Softball - Elk City gets by Clinton
August 17, 2023: Elk City, OK 73644 The Elk City Elks got by the visiting Clinton Red Tornadoes softball squad by a count of 2-1 in Thursday's league battle.
The Elks (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against Jones (Jones, OK). The Longhorns go into the non-league battle with a 2-9 record. In their last battle, Jones was edged by Kiefer (Kiefer, OK), 4-2, in a non-league battle.
The Red Tornadoes now sport a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Binger-Oney for a non-league battle on Monday, August 21. Clinton will meet a Bobcats squad coming off a 12-0 non-league win over Calumet (Calumet, OK). The Bobcats record now stands at 5-2.
