In Thursday's non-league contest, the Tuloso-Midway Warriors/Cherokees (Corpus Christi, TX) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting King Mustangs (Corpus Christi, TX), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Warriors/Cherokees battle the Anderson Trojans (Austin, TX) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, August 18. Tuloso-Midway will attempt to better on its 6-7 season record. The Trojans go into the contest with a 9-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over San Marcos (San Marcos, TX).

With the loss, King moves to 3-5 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Harlingen South (Harlingen, TX) to battle the Hawks in a non-league contest on Friday, August 19. The Hawks go into the contest with a record of 2-9.
