August 19, 2025: Lenoir, NC 28645 The Freedom Patriots volleyball squad (Morganton, NC), was defeated 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host West Caldwell Warriors (Lenoir, NC)
With the win, West Caldwell upgrades its record to 1-3 on the year. The Warriors travel to Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC) to meet the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 21. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 2-1. Wilkes Central lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Avery County (Newland, NC)
Next, the Patriots meet the Hibriten Panthers (Lenoir, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, August 20. Freedom will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Panthers go into the test with a 0-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC).
