North Carolina High School Volleyball - Carolina International overwhelmed by NCSSM: Morganton

The NCSSM: Morganton Dragons topped the host Carolina International Comets volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Dragons confront the Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy Eagles (Huntersville, NC) in a Catawba River 1A/2A/3A game, on Thursday, August 21. NCSSM: Morganton will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Eagles come into the outing with a 0-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Jackson Day (Charlotte, NC).

With the loss, Carolina International drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy (Mooresboro, NC) to play the Gryphons in a Catawba River 1A/2A/3A outing on Thursday, August 21. The Gryphons come into the outing with a record of 2-2. Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Bethel Christian Academy (Spruce Pine, NC)
