The Weeki Wachee Hornets edged the visiting Nature Coast Tech Sharks volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Hornets confront the South Sumter Raiders (Bushnell, FL) in a non-league game, on Thursday, August 21. Weeki Wachee will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Raiders go into the game with a 1-1 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Dunnellon (Dunnellon, FL).

The Sharks (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Hudson (Hudson, FL). The Cobras come into the 4A District 8 outing with a 0-0 record.
