The Palacios Sharks topped the visiting Sweeny Bulldogs volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league game.

Coming up next, the Sharks play the Columbia Roughnecks (West Columbia, TX) in a non-league outing, on Friday, August 22. Palacios will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record. The Roughnecks come into the outing with a 5-6 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Hitchcock (Hitchcock, TX).

With the loss, Sweeny drops to 6-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Freeman (Katy, TX) to confront the Golden Eagles in a non-league match on Thursday, August 21.
