The Meridian Wildcats volleyball squad (Meridian, MS), dropped 3-0 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Brandon Bulldogs (Brandon, MS)

With the win, Brandon improves its record to 12-3 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Pell City (Pell City, AL) to encounter the Panthers in a non-league battle on Friday, August 22. The Panthers go into the battle with a record of 0-0.

The Wildcats now hold a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host Pearl for a Class 7A Region 3 contest on Tuesday, August 26. Meridian will battle a Pirates team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Faith Academy (Mobile, AL). The Pirates record now stands at 0-11.
