Mississippi High School Volleyball - Meridian overwhelmed by Pearl

The Pearl Pirates topped the host Meridian Wildcats volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Pirates face the Brandon Bulldogs (Brandon, MS) in a Class 7A Region 3 game, on Thursday, August 28. Pearl will attempt to advance on its 1-14 season record. The Bulldogs go into the game with a 17-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Oak Grove (Hattiesburg, MS).

The Wildcats (5-5) will now prepare for their game against Petal (Petal, MS). The Panthers go into the Class 7A Region 3 game with a 10-9 record. In their last game, Petal went down by Northwest Rankin (Brandon, MS), 3-0, in a league game.
