The Corning Cardinals volleyball squad (Corning, CA), dropped 3-0 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Willows Honkers (Willows, CA)

With the win, Willows improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Honkers travel to Sutter (Sutter, CA) to encounter the Huskies in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 23. The Huskies go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Sutter lost 3-1 in their recent non-league battle against Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA)

The Cardinals now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Quincy for a non-league contest on Saturday, August 23. Corning will battle a Trojans team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to East Nicolaus (Nicolaus, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 5-3.
