Texas High School Volleyball - Pearland over George Ranch

In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Pearland Oilers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the George Ranch Longhorns.

The Oilers (7-7) will now prepare for their challenge against South Houston (South Houston, TX). The Trojans enter the 6A Region III District 22 challenge with a 2-8 record. In their last challenge, South Houston was beaten by Galena Park (Galena Park, TX), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Longhorns face the Brazoswood Buccaneers (Clute, TX) in a non-league test, on Friday, August 22. George Ranch will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Buccaneers go into the test with a 3-6 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Crosby (Crosby, TX).
