North Carolina High School Volleyball - North Lincoln overwhelmed by Hickory

August 21, 2025: Lincolnton, NC 28092

Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host North Lincoln Knights (Lincolnton, NC), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Red Tornadoes (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Watauga (Boone, NC). The Pioneers come into the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Watauga beat Providence (Charlotte, NC), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Knights face the Newton-Conover Red Devils (Newton, NC) in a Western Foothills 4A/5A test, on Tuesday, August 26. North Lincoln will attempt to advance on its 5-1 season record. The Red Devils go into the game with a 0-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Bandys (Catawba, NC).
