August 22, 2024: Thomasville, GA 31792 The Thomasville Bulldogs softball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Berrien Rebels to 2 in the Bulldogs league win on Thursday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cairo for a non-league battle on Friday, August 30. Thomasville will confront a Syrupmakers team coming off a 16-1 league win over Westover (Albany, GA). The Syrupmakers record now stands at 4-3.
With the loss, Berrien moves to 4-5 on the season. The Rebels host Worth County (Sylvester, GA) to confront the Rams in a 1A D-I Region 1 battle on Wednesday, August 28. The Rams come into the battle with a record of 5-4. Worth County won 8-6 in their recent league battle against Fitzgerald (Fitzgerald, GA)
