September 5, 2024: Hazlehurst, GA 31539 The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Jeff Davis Yellowjackets (Hazlehurst, GA) and the visiting Berrien Rebels (Nashville, GA), observed Jeff Davis's softball team get by Berrien by a tally of 9-3.
The Yellowjackets (10-7) will now prepare for their bout against Thomasville (Thomasville, GA). The Bulldogs go into the 1A D-I Region 1 bout with a 8-4 record. In their last bout, Thomasville was routed by Worth County (Sylvester, GA), 12-10, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Rebels clash with the Bacon County Raiders (Alma, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 1 bout, on Tuesday, September 10. Berrien will attempt to advance on its 6-8 season record.
