August 23, 2023: Graham, NC 27253 The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Graham Red Devils (Graham, NC) and the visiting Cummings Cavaliers (Burlington, NC), saw Graham's volleyball squad beat Cummings by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, Graham upgrades its record to 1-3 on the year. The Red Devils travel to Chatham Central (Bear Creek, NC) to play the Bears in a Mid-Carolina 1A/2A bout on Tuesday, August 29. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 3-3.
The Cavaliers now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Chatham Central for a Mid-Carolina 1A/2A bout on Monday, August 28. Cummings will play a Bears squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Seaforth (Pittsboro, NC). The Bears record now stands at 3-3.
