Oklahoma High School Softball - Central drops to Union City
August 23, 2024: Union City, OK 73090 Union City Tigers (Union City, OK) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Central Bronchos (Marlow, OK), 10-0 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Union City improves its record to 8-6 on the year. The Tigers travel to Fort Cobb-Broxton (Fort Cobb, OK) to face the Mustangs in a non-league game on Saturday, August 24. The Mustangs enter the game with a record of 9-1. Fort Cobb-Broxton won 8-3 in their recent league game against Fletcher (Fletcher, OK)
The Bronchos now hold a 4-7 record. They play next when they host Elmore City-Pernell for a Class A game on Monday, August 26. Central will face a Badgers squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Chattanooga (Chattanooga, OK). The Badgers record now stands at 2-8.
