August 23, 2025: Vega, TX 79092 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Vega Longhorns (Vega, TX) and the visiting Edgewood Bulldogs (Edgewood, TX), observed Vega's volleyball team top Edgewood by a count of 2-0.
The Longhorns (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Elliott (Briscoe, TX). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Fort Elliott was knocked off by Dalhart (Dalhart, TX), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Bulldogs battle the North Lamar Panthers (Paris, TX) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, August 26. Edgewood will attempt to improve on its 3-13 season record. The Panthers go into the battle with a 7-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Community (Nevada, TX).
