Texas High School Volleyball - Rusk over Nacogdoches
August 23, 2025: Nacogdoches, TX 75965 In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Rusk Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Nacogdoches Dragons.
The Eagles (4-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Malakoff (Malakoff, TX). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 13-4 record. In their last test, Malakoff was defeated by West Brook (Beaumont, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.
The Dragons now own a 6-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tyler for a 5A Region II District 10 test on Friday, August 29. Nacogdoches will face a Lions squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Marshall (Marshall, TX). The Lions record now stands at 6-8.
