Alaska High School Volleyball - West Anchorage tips Wasilla

West Anchorage Eagles (Anchorage, AK) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Wasilla Warriors (Wasilla, AK), 3-2 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Dimond Lynx (Anchorage, AK) in a 4A Cook Inlet match, on Friday, August 26. West Anchorage will attempt to advance on its 13-2 season record. The Lynx come into the match with a 2-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Eagle River (Eagle River, AK).

With the loss, Wasilla drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Lathrop (Fairbanks, AK) to clash with the Malemutes in a non-league match on Thursday, September 1. The Malemutes come into the match with a record of 1-0. Lathrop won 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Ben Eielson (Eielson AFB, AK)
