The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Round Rock Dragons (Round Rock, TX) and the visiting Dripping Springs Tigers (Dripping Springs, TX), saw Round Rock's volleyball squad nip Dripping Springs by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Round Rock upgrades its record to 18-7 on the year. The Dragons host Sachse (Sachse, TX) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 27. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 16-8. Sachse won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Brandeis (San Antonio, TX)

The Tigers now own a 19-8 record. They play next when they travel to Amarillo for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 27. Dripping Springs will play a Sandies squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Keller (Keller, TX). The Sandies record now stands at 15-7.
