The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Lovejoy Wildcats (Lovejoy, GA) and the host Morrow Mustangs (Morrow, GA), saw Lovejoy's softball squad topple Morrow by a score of 22-11.

With the triumph, Lovejoy improves its record to 3-2 on the year. The Wildcats host McIntosh (Peachtree City, GA) to play the Chiefs in a 5A Region 3 game on Thursday, August 28. The Chiefs enter the game with a record of 4-4. McIntosh lost 7-6 in their recent league game against Newnan (Newnan, GA)

The Mustangs now hold a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Langston Hughes for a 5A Region 3 match on Thursday, August 28. Morrow will battle a Panthers team coming off a 14-13 non-league win over South Cobb (Austell, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-5.
