McIntosh Chiefs (Peachtree City, GA) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Lovejoy Wildcats (Lovejoy, GA), 16-1 in a league game.

With the triumph, McIntosh upgrades its record to 14-11 on the year. The Chiefs travel to Union Grove (McDonough, GA) to play the Wolverines in a non-league game on Wednesday, October 1. The Wolverines enter the game with a record of 13-4.

The Wildcats now possess a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Banneker for a 5A Region 3 battle on Monday, September 29.
