North Carolina High School Volleyball - Grimsley tips Southwest Guilford

In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Grimsley Whirlies volleyball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Southwest Guilford Cowboys.

The Whirlies (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Owasso (Owasso, OK). The Rams enter the non-league test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, Owasso was edged by Moore (Moore, OK), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Cowboys now own a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ben L. Smith for a Metro 6A/7A test on Thursday, August 28.
