The Grimsley Whirlies prevailed the visiting Southwest Guilford Cowboys volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Whirlies clash with the Western Guilford Hornets (Greensboro, NC) in a Metro 6A/7A bout, on Tuesday, September 23. Grimsley will attempt to better on its 18-7 season record. The Hornets come into the bout with a 9-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC).
