August 27, 2024: Saluda, VA 23149 The Middlesex Chargers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Rappahannock Raiders to 1 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Chargers now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Northumberland for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 3. Middlesex will play a Indians team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over King & Queen Central (King & Queen Court House, VA). The Indians record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Rappahannock drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Raiders host Fredericksburg Christian (Fredericksburg, VA) to play the Eagles in a non-league outing on Thursday, August 29.
