September 30, 2024: Heathsville, VA 22473 The Middlesex Chargers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Northumberland Indians to 1 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Chargers now possess a 15-1 record. They play next when they travel to King William for a Tidewater outing on Thursday, October 3. Middlesex will play a Cavaliers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Nottoway (Nottoway, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 7-5.
With the loss, Northumberland drops to 7-5 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Westmoreland (Montross, VA) to play the Eagles in a Northern Neck outing on Tuesday, October 1. The Eagles come into the outing with a record of 10-3. Westmoreland won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Surry County (Dendron, VA)
