The Fairbury Jeffs football team (Fairbury, NE), was tipped 7-0 in Thursday's non-league bout with the visiting Superior Wildcats (Superior, NE)

With the win, Superior advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Palmyra (Palmyra, NE) to battle the Panthers in a non-league contest on Friday, September 5. The Panthers enter the contest with a record of 0-1. Palmyra lost 22-21 in their recent non-league contest against Falls City (Falls City, NE)
