The Fillmore Central Panthers football squad scored 21 points and limited the visiting Fairbury Jeffs to 12 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Palmyra for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 12. Fillmore Central will face a Panthers team coming off a 20-18 non-league win over Superior (Superior, NE). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.

The Jeffs (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Wood River (Wood River, NE). The Eagles go into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Wood River toppled Hershey (Hershey, NE), 8-6, in a non-league challenge.
