The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Banks County Leopards (Homer, GA) and the visiting Commerce Tigers (Commerce, GA), observed Banks County's softball team get by Commerce by a tally of 4-3.

The Leopards (11-1) will now prepare for their bout against Elbert County (Elberton, GA). The Blue Devils go into the 1A D-I Region 8 bout with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Elbert County nudged Rabun County (Tiger, GA), 7-6, in a league contest.
