September 16, 2025: Winder, GA 30680 The Banks County Leopards triumphed over the host Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy softball squad by a count of 12-3 in Tuesday's league challenge.
Next, the Leopards meet the Rabun County Wildcats (Tiger, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 8 battle, on Thursday, September 18. Banks County will attempt to move on its 17-2 season record. The Wildcats come into the battle with a 6-14 record after their 11-1 league loss to Elbert County (Elberton, GA).
With the loss, Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy moves to 2-11 on the season. The travel to Oglethorpe County (Lexington, GA) to confront the Patriots in a 1A D-I Region 8 battle on Thursday, September 18. The Patriots come into the battle with a record of 10-4.
