In Thursday's non-league match, the Midway Panthers (Waco, TX) volleyball squad tipped the host Johnson Jaguars (San Antonio, TX), by a count of 2-1.

Next up, the Panthers battle the St. John's Mavericks (Houston, TX) in a non-league match, on Thursday, August 28. Midway will attempt to better on its 13-5 season record. The Mavericks come into the bout with a 12-5 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Shadow Creek (Pearland, TX).
