The Northwest Rankin Cougars (Brandon, MS) volleyball overcame the host Meridian Wildcats (Meridian, MS), 3-0 in Tuesday's league outing.

With the win, Northwest Rankin upgrades its record to 8-8 on the year. The Cougars host Pearl (Pearl, MS) to face the Pirates in a Class 6 Region 6 outing on Thursday, August 31. The Pirates go into the outing with a record of 2-13. Pearl lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Oak Grove (Hattiesburg, MS)
