The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Northwest Rankin Cougars (Brandon, MS) and the visiting Meridian Wildcats (Meridian, MS), saw Northwest Rankin's volleyball squad beat Meridian by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Northwest Rankin upgrades its record to 11-11 on the year. The Cougars travel to Madison Central (Madison, MS) to play the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Friday, September 15. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 18-5. Madison Central lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Germantown (Madison, MS)
