With the win, Western Branch improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Bruins host Lakeland (Suffolk, VA) to encounter the Cavaliers in a Southeastern battle on Thursday, September 5. The Cavaliers go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Lakeland won 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Manor (Portsmouth, VA)
