Oklahoma High School Softball - Blackwell gets by Tonkawa
August 29, 2024: Blackwell, OK 74631 In Thursday's non-league match, the host Blackwell Maroons softball team scored a tight 4-3 victory over the Tonkawa Buccaneers.
The Maroons (9-11) will now prepare for their match against Covington-Douglas (Covington, OK). The Wildcats go into the non-league match with a 5-6 record. In their last match, Covington-Douglas was nipped by Hennessey (Hennessey, OK), 5-3, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Buccaneers battle the Alva Goldbugs (Alva, OK) in a non-league match, on Friday, August 30. Tonkawa will attempt to better on its 9-6 season record. The Goldbugs go into the match with a 8-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Chisholm (Enid, OK).
