Oklahoma High School Softball - Blackwell bounces Tonkawa
September 9, 2024: Blackwell, OK 74631 In Monday's non-league match, the host Blackwell Maroons softball team scored a nice 8-0 win over the Tonkawa Buccaneers.
The Maroons (15-12) will now prepare for their match against Chisholm (Enid, OK). The Longhorns come into the non-league match with a 5-15 record. In their last match, Chisholm was routed by Kingfisher (Kingfisher, OK), 9-1, in a non-league contest.
The Buccaneers now hold a 10-11 record. They play next when they travel to Fairview for a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 10. Tonkawa will face a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Hinton (Hinton, OK). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 4-10.
